Writer Kari Paulson Joins “Mink River” Team

Oregon Writer Kari Paulson Joins the “Mink River” Film Team

Kari’s roots are west of the Cascades in the Pacific Northwest.  She
studied geology and English at Carleton College in Minnesota, Forest
Hydrology at the University of Washington (MS) and Creative Writing at
Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan (MFA).  Her work,
her education and choice of place reflect her orientation and
stewardship to large landscapes, natural processes and the environment.
 
She has authored a collection of short stories as well as several
creative nonfiction pieces.  Her short story, “Ikea Baby,” was published
in Passages North, NMU’s annual literary journal.  She lives and works
in the hills outside of Corvallis with her husband and three sons.
